UX / UI for the desktop and mobile screens of the new vehicles page on Hyundai South Africa’s website. This project was done while interning at Bakery Digital.

Brief

The Brief for this Page of the Hyundai Website was to redesign and update the web page for new vehicles in order to increase the conversion rate of the page.

Design Solution

The final UI designs were designed as a combination of the Hyundai design system as well as new design elements. The secondary goal, apart from creating a page that converts more customers is to create a page that guides the users in an enticing and exciting manner. The design solution incorporates interactive elements such as the interior view and the opportunity for users to visualise their desired exterior colour.

Analysing Hyundai’s existing web page VS. Competitors

A competitor analysis was done as a way of benchmarking Hyundais current New Vehicles page. Interesting findings include: length of page, user engagement, number of areas where the user is required to engage and overall experience in line with the brand.

Wireframe sketches

Here, I explored the structuring of information on the overall web page. The hierarchy of each element was carefully considered to guide the user on their journey and give them the information that they require at each point along the way.

The introduction of interactive elements such as the 360 degree interior and exterior views guides the user towards Hyundai’s Build and Price feature as well as enticing the user to customising their dream car for themselves.
